occurred in 1987-88. Lee Coward went 39 of 74 (52.7%), and Derrick Chievous went 17 of 33 (51.5%).

For comparison sake, despite getting kicked off the team in the middle of the season and being a below avg 3 pt shooter Wes Clark took 80 three point attempts last year, and Kevin Puryear took more than Chievous at 41 attempts.
