* slavery was a state-sponsored and protected practice

* following the war against the South, were punitive laws enacted to prevent the incorporation of black people into everday society, from reconstruction to felons not voting to poll taxes, etc.

* were Jim Crow laws and segregation laws imposed to further prevent black people from entering everyday society

* the Great Society and social welfare programs deliberately destroyed the familial relations of black people and their communities

* the War on Drugs not targeted black communities, knowing that there is little chance and few resources to fight charges, that it is easy money and control for the State

* the US gvmt purposefully introduce drugs into black communities

* cops enjoy priviliges and immunities that us commoners do not
