With Okie Light tells you a lot about how he was perceived in his job at Missouri by his brethren in the coaching profession as well as his former counterpart on the other side of the ball. Great athletes can make an ordinary coach look great, but when faced with doing more with less, he seemed less than effective.
I think Heupel is an upgrade.
That isn't necessarily an indicator of our future success on offense this year, but it's an interesting sign that Odom saw the same things fans did.
Heupel/Elarbee > Henson/Ricker.
