Jim Sterk announced today as the new Mizzou AD, big media event and press conference. Dave Matter reports that "Sterk says Earleywine status will be resolved soon".
And Blake Toppmeyer reports from a discussion with assistant AD Tim Hickman: Hickman says "we're getting close" to announcing the decision on EE. And Hickman "expects Earleywine matter to be resolved by August 22", which is Sterks first day on the job.
I think it's apparent they know what the decision is and have known for awhile now, but are (appropriately) pushing it back to next week so it doesn't conflict with the new AD announcement.
I'm fine with that. Just get it over with.
