Zanders is never going to see the field as a starter.

Berkstresser wouldn't have if not for injuries.

We sign a QB every year ideally, and many will never start. That doesn't mean they're recruited to play other positions or to help sign a friend. You need depth, too.

A guy like Estes probably could play another position, as well, but that's irrelevant to the point of why he was signed in the first place. The coaches have been trying to add a mobile quarterback in this class, and now they have one. Everyone else on the board had already committed elsewhere.
