You don't appear to understand that "the best conference, in fact" has lost the Big 12/SEC! SEC! SEC! Challenge EACH AND EVERY YEAR of it's existence to what you refer to as a "minor conference". Or you appear to be ignoring it. (My money is on the latter.)
So how does that sit with your group's collective fanbases? How do you explain that perverse dichotomy?
And as far as having 'value', all we would need to do is to institute a program (with funds obtained through the 'ticket scandal') to populate the east and west sides of our state with something comparable to the Kansas City and St. Louis television markets. That, rather than ANY significant accomplishments achieved by your athletic teams, would make US 'relevant', too.
