...It sometimes helps a young quarterback to have an absolute go-to guy. If Lock knows he can chuck it to Black on third and seven when the pocket collapses, it could turn some of those three-and-outs into extended drives.


Now if Ross turns into the return man that we need in addition to yards out of the backfield then it could swing the other way.
