If college sports goes to subscriptions/pay per view, what will be the point of a conference? why would schools not just want to keep the loot they can generate without sharing it with say Miss State? Seems like the big brand schools should either get together to sell their content or go full Notre Dame and sell their brand to the highest bidder or put together attractive match ups that drive pay per view ala boxing or MMA. I mean who woul pay money to watch MU play Eastern Michigan on TV? But Notre Dame v Texas would likely do pretty well ala pay per view.
