Who was head recruiter for DePaul back in the early 2000's. They used to get all sorts of McD All-Americans but were never very good. Family has all sorts of connections to Chicago AAU players, much like the Irvin family. As Fiji mentioned in a post earlier today, Quin hired Byron Irvin's brother for his final season, who had similar credentials. I don't really mind the hire, because it doesn't really matter and he can't possibly be less effective than Corey Tate, but think KA would have been better served hiring a very experienced tactician rather than a street recruiter-- although that would have been hard to do given the state of the program and job security issues. By the way, Tracy Dildy is now head coach at Chicago St. I'm surprised we didn't schedule them this year since they were 4-28 last season.
