because he didn't know there was anything that needed to be cleaned. Our compliance office had approved the internship in Georgia, just as they did for the same internship the summer after Anderson was hired. Anderson didn't clean it up either because he also didn't know there was anything that needed to be cleaned.

It's an easy misconception because the University and most media outlets have reported that everything happened under the Haith staff, which is not true.
