they offer a lot of insight ... as have the few surveys of college players about various teams (this was done and published when we were in the B12 a few years back, and opponents quietly identified our defense as one of the hardest hitting ones in the conference).

You get more than the boilerplate from people who don't know anything, and some understanding of what coaches and players are actually dealing with. More often than not, the news about Missouri football has been better in these than the gnashing of the fans here. Gee, wonder why...
