On his family back home....that blunts criticism that you couldn't keep a guy at his alma mater....(his family was a bigger pull than his U). Good to remind folks that Mizzou is the flagship. That's not a criticism of SLU or aimed at Tate as much as it's just good promotion. And the part about getting someone to recruit for the SEC is a similar comment - reminding folks that you're in the SEC is a good thing. Could be read as a swipe, but that's a stretch. More of a job posting.
