they're just different people who were not really as close as people assumed based upon the history


Obviously being a long time JUCO coach who didn't leave the state of Missouri, had difficulty attracting recruits, and who only would have been considered for such a job at his alma mater in its current state is not what is being referenced about Tate not being a Kim Anderson guy because that is exactly a Kim Anderson guy. Given Kim's temper tantrum of a public statement it seems they did not part ways on good terms.

Will be interesting to see if this only widens the gap between St. Louis and MU, and if some negative recruiting starts to occur against us in favor of SLU.
