An ideal scenario for me (aside from the unrealistic) is that we win 16 games, Kim is content of that accomplishment, and he retires.
Anything less, and he's probably fired by the new AD. Not an unjust firing by any means, but it's at least a little messy.
Anything more, and he probably believes he can still take things to the next level, so he stays. (Working assumption here is that he can't take things to the next level.)
But maybe, just maybe, there's a sweet spot where he'll think to himself, "I got a chance to live a dream, I proved that in time I can build something, and I know in my heart I could've done more, but I'm happy with where things ended up." And then he retires. And we get to hire a new coach to lead a team with a solid foundation.
