I know you are incapable of understanding this, so I will write it for other people:

The more difficult schedule a team plays, the fewer wins that team needs to get post-season bids. Vanderbilt, for example, also didn't reach 20 wins but got an NCAA tournament bid. Vanderbilt played a very difficult schedule.

Mizzou on the other hand, has decreased the difficulty of their non-con so much they may exceed the entire win total of last years team before SEC play. 20 total wins may not guarantee an NIT bid in that case.
