That assumption is informed in part by people protesting, shouting and saying they won't vote for Hillary.

I have know idea how representative those people are. But remember, youth turnout traditionally has been pretty low. Obama got record youth turnout. They probably won't be Trump supporters, but if they go back to not voting in large numbers, that's okay too.
