is not nearly as powerful and strong as America has always given it credit for. The Communist system they had before 1991 was inefficient and weak. Now the state controls everything over there, their economy is not diversfied and relies completely on commodity prices, including oil. As those prices goes, so does the economy. They can't even collect taxes over there and there is so much corruption among the bureaucrats that they are no threat to anyone.

Russia is a once somewhat powerful country that still pretends it's a super powerful country.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
