Question about B12 expansion

Wvu is on a geographical island vs the rest of the b12. Hypothetically BYUand uh could be added. This further isolates wvu and Lordy a BYU wvu matchup is almost transcontinental.
I thought the b12 at one point was giving lip service at least to getting a school closer. If they do further isolate wvu are you guys happy campers?
