TCU was performing at a high level for years before being added to the Big 12. UH has had 1 good year. Another good year and Herman is gone to a P5 school (probably aTm, UT or Baylor).

The idea that UH brings Houston eyeballs is false. Houston does not care about UH in the way that Louisville cares about UL. Houston is a UT and aTm town first and second, Tech/Baylor 3rd and UH and Rice a distant fourth and fifth.
