The motivation being peddled by the media/DNC/Hillary campaign is that Trump just made statements critical of NATO and suggested the US may not honor its commitment to defend other NATO states in the event they are attacked by Russia and they want you to believe Putin is a war monger who will invade former eastern bloc countries and who knows who else.
He's also white, pro-Traditional values and not at all supportive of LGBT and his country has compared Obama and Michelle to monkeys.
