MU is fortunate that nobody takes the program seriously anymore, can you imagine trying to defend things to an actual rival who wasn't taking pity. If one had to sit down and make a serious attempt at explaining and justifying MU basketball in its current state they would come off sounding like a complete buffoon.

Look, once the hiring decision was made we owed it to Kim to give him 2 years to play out his fantasy no matter how ill equipped and overwhelmed he proved to be. The fact that we are going to do this again, and they just keep taking more and more steps that are detrimental to trying to rebuild after they leave is simply galling. It is a game and entertainment, but its not like MU basketball just doesn't matter at all. Some people still care about it despite it being operated like one of those fantasy camps where some fat old dude gets to pretend he is a major league baseball player.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
