Not sure why this is so difficult for you.

Trump's campaigning on the idea that America is being taken over by violent criminals and that he alone can fix it.

The reality is that we've had a steady decline in violent crime for nearly three decades now.

We do have a problem with violent crime, but that problem has been improving consistently for years.
