Expansion rumor RE: B12/B1G/Mizzou

If the B12 can't agree to a long term grant of rights extension, it will likely set off the nuclear expansion bomb among the other four P5 conferences, which would swell to 18-20 schools apiece.

Supposedly, in the event that the B12 can't hold itself together, the B1G's first priority would be inviting Texas, OU, kansas, and--wait for it--Missouri. Supposedly, the B1G wants kU and MU as a package deal. If MU wouldn't come, they might not be willing to accept kU on its own.

Rumors are rumors, but what does the board think of this one?

UPDATE: apparently the governor of Texas will try to block expansion if the B12 isn't willing to take Houston. If that's true, we could be closer to the new landscape than I thought.
