You are correct that Odom went out and hired what looks like a very solid support staff. KA has a long-time D2 assistant, a prep school coach, and a JUCO coach. He did manage to pick up Steve Shields after he was fired at a low-major, and certainly appears to be the most competent and motivated guy on the entire bench (head coach included). The strength coach he originally hired actually had by far and away the best credentials of anyone but he was a disaster and was fired after only two seasons.
