I am sure Disney sees the value in having this go away as quietly as possible, which a trial or public settlement won't do.

Toddlers die in America every single day (sad, but true). Almost none have a charitable foundation named after them. I think Disney scored a coup here given the situation from a PR angle and are betting this is the last we hear of it. I also bet there are different signs and more aggressive gator hunting, both changes made ... quietly.
