Doctored videos are one example. The dude that made the Acorn "sting" video used a computer to change the normal cloths that his "undercover actor" was actually wearing into a pimp costume after the fact.
But some of the more partisan were willing to suspend disbelief and pretend that actually happened.
The people that made the planned parenthood "sting videos" have been caught red handed in deceptive editing as well.
