I agree the USG has funded terrorists. That is common. For example, the funding of contras in Nicaragua and assorted Cuban terrorists is well documented. And that is before you get to Al Quida and various other middle eastern, African and eastern European groups. You may be interested in our funding of terrorists in Greece for example, after WWII was over as we sought to install a military dictatorship. Or you may be interested in the USG funding of terrorists in Berlin before the Berlin wall as built, as a way to destabilize the east german government.
But I think you are giving Obama to much credit. He is just a front man. The amazing consistency in USG foreign policy pretty much proves that people like Obama, Bush and Clinton are not the real policy makers.
