Both candidates have very high negative ratings among the voters.

For many people this election is boiling down to choosing the lesser of two evils.

That has been the mantra of many people in quite a few prior elections, but in this case many But I'm not people think we have sunk to a new low.

There is no possible way that I would ever vote for Hillary under any circumstances. I'm sure there are a substantial number of people who would say the same thing about Trump. Many of those folks hate/dislike one or the other that they won't vote for a 3rd party candidate because they absolutely do not want that person their fear/loathe to become president under any circumstances. They will hold their noses and vote for the candidate they don't like/trust very much just to keep the one they fear/loathe from becoming president.
