Certainly there are good and bad cops, and good and bad people. Cops will act overly aggressive. People will act stupid and irrational. All of that is there on a certain level. Individuals behaving badly, whether in uniform or not.

But on a grander scale there is a pushback by the people against an entire system that is oppressive, and the cops are the buffer, the protector between 'people' and the system.

Just as when a man puts on a suit and represents company X, in that moment he must operate in a way that benefits the company above anything else. He's legally obligated to do what's in the best interest of the company to benefit the shareholders. That is priority number one.

Same is true for a man in blue.

That analogy isn't debatable.
