You don't want guns where people are drinking, and you don't want guns in areas with large crowds. Seem recipes for bad situations. Gonna be politically charged protests with big crowds so seems like a no brainer to say no to it.

If you are carrying to one of these large events you are also probably making yourself a target...given police shootings do you really want that? We saw in Dallas that even someone innocent of wrong doing using &C became an instant suspect. Don't bring guns to protests.
