if they really lived through the golden age of the bowl era. I mean, I remember going to watch parties for the 1997 and 1998 Missouri bowl teams and the bars were packed and insane – and that was for the Holiday Bowl and the Insight Bowl. there was truly nothing like your team being in a bowl around the holidays. These were tremendous matchups and the players were playing for championships and there was no question about anyone setting out. That’s just the way it was. It was cool for the fans and probably a good experience for those players too.
