Mandalay Bay is connected to the stadium, or at least it has signs pointing towards it. The walk from Mandalay Bay to stadium is maybe 15 minutes.

You can take a tram from Excalibur to Mandalay Bay. So really, you just want need to be able to walk to Excalibur.

What I did was stay at Bellagio, tram from Bellagio to Park MGM, walk from Park MGM to Excalibur, tram from Excalibur to Mandalay Bay, walked to stadium. Took an hour.

I also waited until about an hour before kickoff to buy my ticket, but I was alone. Got a good deal by buying late.
