is pure tribalism.
The best & most capable person for a job should be hired, period.
If that means most of the players are black, and most of the coaches are white, then so be it. That's called a *meritocracy* and will always result in the best outcome.
When you start hiring based on race rather than merit (e.g., because you want the players and coaches to have matching skin color) it's normally not going to end well. It's also despicable racism.
