hire somebody else and the BoC took over snd made him hire Drink.

I absolutely believe some of those guys were interviewed, or at least called on the phone, but I do not believe he was about to hire one of those lower level options as DM has said.

I always felt like it was one of those situations where there was a grain of sand of truth in there, and somebody built a beach out of it.
