I started reading SI in about 1964 when issues were made available in my hs library. I subscribed as soon as I had my own apartment after graduating in 1971. I got one issue in which every single article was about finances. I can understand one, maybe two articles, but not the whole magazine. I called and cancelled my subscription and never regretted it, except missing some fine writing about sports that kept dwindling to make room for nonstop bs about money.
I always stopped at a newsstand to read the last page opinion piece from Rick Reilly. I don’t even know where a nearby newsstand is these days.
I’m glad I missed the woke bs.
