Arkansas beats A&M last year if a field goal went an inch to the left, and Arkansas beats LSU last year if KJ Jefferson never got hurt.

That’s 9 wins right there and there is no talk about regression. Truthfully, you never really know how a season will go because there are so many variables and one play can determine 3-4 games in a season. No one thought Arkansas would win 9 games before 2021 either.

It takes a lot of luck sometimes. But I do know it’s pretty much statistically impossible for the defense to get worse than it was last year yet Arkansas was in nearly every game.
