year 4 had better look pretty damn good. by that point it's his team with his players and his coaches and his system. if it's not clicking in year 4 and we see some momentum in development and recruiting, he's in real trouble.

i don't think the record compared to odom really matters. odom was on a pretty clear downward trajectory. things were worse for him the further out you looked. drink at least still has some promise for improvement.
