Auburn's 1st string QB, J.T. Daniels is a 6'7" statue with a decent arm but absolutely no escapability. The 2nd string QB has great feet and an average arm. AU has two very good running backs, but their O-Line couldn't open up anything in the middle against SAN JOSE ST. Play calling is similar to Mizzou - a combination of predictable and misdirection runs that fool no one. Their defense is average at best. Auburn is not very good. Strong, fast, athletic, but not very good.
They are 1 point underdogs vs. Penn State (the line opened at PSU -3 or -3.5.) If I was still in the game I would bet one of my more useful appendages on PSU moneyline.
The 11:00 a.m. start on 9/24 won't mitigate the home field advantage much, as it is homecoming.
Depending on this Saturday's results, injuries, etc. I see Auburn opening up as 14 or so point favorites. Auburn is crappy, but they will probably have their way with Mizzou.
