Things have changed. 10 years ago MU took its shot at B10 but timing is everything. MU ended up in the best football conference with fellow schools that are in states where people want to live. Lots of upside beyond being in the premier football conference when it come to the SEC.

Big10 can do better than Missouri with their expansion. They have enough Midwest schools that are AAU. To maximize money, it makes more sense that they would grab more west coast and east coast schools that also happen to be AAU.
