and the proof is the incredibly improved athletic facilities in Columbia, which would never have happened if MU was still in the Big XII, or held back by junior status in the B1G.

That progress can be overshadowed in the eyes of many Mizzou alums and fans, fans of other SEC teams, and outside observers because of chowderheaded coaching hires that have held down attendance and precluded even more progress being achieved in the past ten years.
