not completely surrounded by people who look and think exactly like them. It makes them feel very vulnerable. They think the solution is to try and recreate the dysfunctional environment they worked so hard to get out of. Now they're stuck because nobody else wants the ****hole life they left, so their only option is to leave and try to find something ****ty like it was back home, or just go back home.

I hope they find the comfortably ****ty environment they're looking for.
