He was a lawyer who at one time was a senior guy at the NCAA.

He explained to me the extraordinary pressure that any coach has at Texas because the criticism comes immediately and from all sides from boosters who have too much pull in the program. It's contradictory and destructive. They won't wait for a coach to build anything. A ranked team isn't good enough.

I thought Tom Herman was an arrogant jerk but a good football coach who could build a powerhouse at Texas. Boosters got him fired. He went to a bowl in all four years he was there and finished his last 3 years with his teams ranked. Not close to good enough.

I predict Sark won't last either. There was speculation he could be fired this year. If he doesn't compete next year for the Big 12 title he may get the axe.
