From everything that has been said on the internet Williams is recovering from an injury. Most of her minutes from last year are being used by someone else. What she is getting is apparently to help in her return.
I don't remember what the injury is, but she is playing tentative. If RP can work her past the mental side, assuming the injury has mended, she would be a big help based on last year's performance.
