Nick Joos spoke to number 1 on PowerMizzou. There's been an attempt to get some of those schools on the schedule on a more regular basis but the other side has to be interested. To date they haven't. I'm going to guess Iowa has little to no interest after the series Pinkel wanted to delay was cancelled, then the bowl cancellation last year.
To get more compelling game times, you're correct, the team has to win. With the amount of games the SEC has to provide to fulfill media obligations someone has to play at 11. I believe Mizzou can request a start time for one game per year, generally that's an afternoon kick for homecoming.
Student section - bring back block seating for fraternities/sororities and some form of Reactor Field tailgating.
