for 10 years. So, he's had 10 opportunities to recruit better players and coach them up in his culture, scheme, etc. Drink, on the other hand, has been at Mizzou for one year. And that year he was handicapped by a pandemic, an all-SEC schedule, assistants he inherited, etc. Granted, Drink didn't inherit the same dumpster fire that Stoops did, but our program was going nowhere fast under Odom. Especially in terms of recruiting.
I was ****ed after last week's game, but I think we owe it to Drink to give him a few more years to build his program before we pass judgement on him. If we aren't as good or better than KY is now in five years or so, I'll be disappointed.
