I prefer the Firestick interface to Roku

Firestick still gives you quick access to all your 3rd party apps as the top/home line (Netflix, HBO, YTTV, whatever) but then has "categories" a bit like browsing Netflix with various recommendations or new show advertisements across not just Amazone Prime, but Netflix and other services as well.

Can kinda get an overview of new stuff without having to load and check each individual app.
