"The theme from the coach on down has again and again been about how we fought to the end.

I don't think much of that.

If you don't fight to the end you shouldn't be playing football anywhere.

We're not here to fight to the end, we're here to win.

If we turn it over five times, our defense has to make them turn it over five times and maybe score a couple times themselves.

If they put 60 on us, we gotta put 61 on them - kinda like Coach Pinkel used to say.

I'm completely dissatisfied with this game - not because of any particular play, but because despite of all that happened we didn't find a way to win and that's the only reason we play the game.

I'm willing to take 100% responsibility for this loss because I know that almost any team can beat almost any other team when play at the quarterback position is elite.

My play in this game was not elite - if it had been - we easily win this game going away - especially considering the turnovers our defense was able to manufacture.

We have to turn those into seven points every single time.

And we can't be going three and out or turning it over ourselves - that's totally unacceptable.

So I'm not at all happy. This was a conference game. And let's be honest - this was Kentucky. They did a great job beating us up - but I don't think any of the remaining teams we play, except maybe Vandy - are going to be any easier.

In fact several will be significantly more difficult.

So while I appreciate the coach speak from the top - unless we win, we gotta spin - and I'm not interested in spin I'm interested in only one thing - putting up that W every Saturday.
