Arkansas has a very good roster. They return Amber Ramirez. Sasha Goforth transferred to Arkansas from Oregon State, and is a sophomore guard, started every game for OSU, averaged over 11 pts, All PAC 12 freshmen team. Elauna Eaton was supposed to be their best freshman last year but was injured and missed the season, a highly rated guard. Their two best players will likely be Jersey Wolfenbeger 6’5, and Maryam Dauda 6’4. Both McDonald’s all Americans and Freshmen.
Mississippi State has two outstanding transfer players, one from Tulane, and one from Middle Tennessee. They still have Rickea Jackson and she’s one of the best players in the SEC.
I really don’t know how good these teams will be, but they look good in the talent department.
I’m not that high on Williams as an interior player. She plays well against decent competition, but not so good against strong SEC competition. She’s more suited to play forward in my opinion. I hope she proves me wrong.
