Actually, in 2007 Mizzou came close to winning the NCAA

title. Minnesota won with 98 points, Iowa State 2nd with 88.5 points and Mizzou was 3rd with 80 points. However, Ben Askew won a national title, but his brother Max who was undefeated for the season and the number one seed at 184, lost his first and second matches at the tournament scoring zero points for the team. If he had won some of his matches it is very possible Mizzou would have won the NCAA title. Unfortunately, Ben had a terrible tournament and the team finished 3rd. I believe Ben won a national title later in his career but after Ben had graduated. Go Tigers.
