IMO he has to show improvement throughout next season

Not necessarily make the postseason (NIT), but we need to see the team come together, improve, and have some hope that 22/23 will be good. I would argue that includes a nice 2022 class signed.
He doesn't get a 2-3 year free pass on rebuilding. While I think he caught some really bad breaks by losing MPJ year 1 and Jontay year 2 there are no excuses for a long list of recruiting whiffs over the last couple of years. There is no excuse for requiring a complete roster turnover to get back on track.
